Along a cove overlooking the ocean near Hilo is a botanical garden. Hawaii Tropical Bioreserve & Garden is located 7 miles north of Hilo, Hawai'i on Highway 19. I wanted to include a walk through of the garden experience on my blog so those who are unable to visit can get a magical jungle experience! The garden is 17 acres and contains 2,500 species of plants. Enjoy this 17 minute tour and please feel free to leave comments!
Go to htbg.gardenexplorer.org for species in the garden.
In this video I walk through several areas:
Boardwalk
Palm Jungle Trail
Onomea Waterfalls
Heliconia Trail
Banyan Canyon
Guava Tree Vista
Orchid Garden
Anthurium Corner
Lily Lake
Ocean Vista Trail
Torch Ginger Trail
Fern Circle
The beginning of the video starts along a heritage road cliff overlooking the garden. The jungle here along this land is breathtaking and unbelievable! I hope you all get a mini vacation watching this!
