Lava Sands

Day 3.

Even on an overcast day there is no calm like the warm jungle air beside a beach. I followed a path with a few arrows (on the ground) that lead the way to what I could only describe as the jungle. For anyone who has been waiting their whole life to experience it, it's obvious when one has found it. It wasn't the palm trees, orchids, or lava rocks shaped as waves. I think it was the sounds and warmth that really told me where I was. After leaving one of the coldest places on earth, the contrast was amazing. Sadly even after finding the ocean for the first time, I couldn't jump in. Sometimes one can only watch the waves. Soon enough, I will dive in.
